The most recent edition of JamaicanEats has a great article on the benefits of curry.
"A diet containing curry may help the aging brain, according to a study of aging Asians who increased their consumption of curry, which in turn was ssociated with better cognitve performance, and helping with the increase of Alzheimer's disease.
So....I decided a new curry soup was in order....and I feel smarter already! lol
'Jamaican Mango & Shrimp Curry Soup'
This soup was fabulous...ranking up there with all of the soups that I have made thus far.
Here is my recipe if you want to give it a try. I added more of the things that I like in a soup, and I am not a big fan of puree soups, so I just used a potato masher to a get a thicker consistency, keeping some of the veggie and mango pieces.
