Yes I have . I also have been there several times . We were fishing tuna in that area and a fish dragger brought up a piece of wood that experts said was same as the shafts .There is alot to that place. By the way ,people from Nova Scotia are called Bluenoser's after the vessel The Bluenose . That is an interesting read as well. My youngest daughter was Bosun on the Bluenose II for 2 1/2 years . In the year 2000 they had the biggest gathering of tallships of modern time in Halifax . When they left the Bluenose II lead the parade out the harbour and my daughter steered the Bluenose out ,they then turned her around and sailed down the line of all these beautiful ships ,each one saluting the Bluenose as she past . My daughter was overcome with emotion as was the rest of the crew.This was the daughter I thought would take over my fishing gear but she became a geologist instead. IMAGINE !!!! that....hehehe
