I haven't tried to figure out posting pics here yet... but one of these days I will. I mean, there are/were likely more than a handful of varieties around the island "back in the day". I don't know what I have, exactly, it's definitely not quite pure sativa/NLD type, but heavily leans that way. It's purple, but in a different way than modern purple strains. Very elongated, spear type colas, fairly thin when grown in Michigan... very pungent, yet intensely fruity smell. Grapes, Citrus, mango, a bit of banana maybe? But not totally fruity, there's a strong spiciness to it, super sticky. Stems are red/purple, leaflets get very thin toward the crown, but the main sun leaves aren't as thin as a Thai or something like that. It actually looks like it's going to finish, which I didn't think would happen, so I'm stoked about that.
I'm not claiming it as any particular thing, just some really nice looking/smelling herb, but haven't smoked it yet. But the origins are beyond doubt, since I collected it myself, which is important to me.
