75 ... The plant is up the river and is only 1/2 the size it needs to be . A company from Halifax Nova Scotia builds bridges in Jamaica and hired me to look at the plant and St.Mary's fuel dock . The plant is way to small for the need . Each of the big resorts have thousands of guests and all the laundry services etc and it isn't even close enough to do the job . When it rains that is even more water . It is dumped and it overflows . It is the right idea but just not enough . The dock is another story . Poorly planned , poorly built and poorly maintained . The man that came with me is an engineer for a company from Sweden that has built several very large resorts in Jamaica and we kind of put a RFP ( request for proposal ) together about what needs to be done . I personally wouldn't swim in the sea anywhere near the river . The RFP took about 2 weeks to put together so it wasn't a " duh that's not big enough mon " type thing . Who ever thought that there was going to be large yachts fuel up in Negril is beyond me . The people on those types of boats could give a damn about nightlife and street bumming in Negril . Florida has the cheapest fuel on the east coast !!!! What made Negril Negril is not what it is today . Don't get me wrong , I love staying at Treehouse but if I was young not so much . If TB had access to better health care I would stay there . Far more to do than drink all day . But hopefully Negril's new health centre will ease the need for 1st response care . Sorry about the run on
