I almost bit my lip off avoiding the last thread. It was only a matter of time before a visitor/tourist was executed in Negril, and it will probably happen again. In a society where the police seem as corrupt as the criminals, things will not be getting better soon.
As of now we have no plans on a return to Jamaica, but is has nothing to do with this latest tragedy.
I turn 50 in November and my wife is treating me to a fishing trip wherever I choose. Nothing is booked yet but Panama is tops on the list.
We are constantly looking for a place where we hope to one day spend our winters, our favorite TV show is House Hunters International. As much as I love Jamaica, it's not a place I think I want to try to spend months at a time in, there are better options with great weather, beaches, awesome fishing,and genuine health care.
