RW, I do have storage in Negril, lol. All my kitchen stuff and other household stuff is down there.
I never leave linens or clothing. Bedding takes up a lot of room - pillows, my memory-foam thingie (I swear my bed down there is filled with sawdust) a comforter etc. And towels.
Its amazing how much room toiletries take up, especially a supply to last us a few months.
2 huge things of Olive Oil - one for me, one for my friend.
7 books, at least. A few things always travel with us, including "mobile art" (i.e., our Tonka)
I'll admit I probably bring more clothing than I really need to - shoes especially. Around the holidays its party, party, party - and I like to dress up
Every year I feel like I'm "done" bringing anything else down for the house - and every year something comes up that we need.
Then there's the stuff that our friends have shipped to us or need/want us to bring. And gifts/donations.
No matter how our list alters year to year our bag count always comes up at 10.
But, like I said we have it down to a science. Probably the most stress I deal with before I go is getting my office tied up and mobile for an extended period. Three months or three weeks - same stress.
