The story has the link to the site to check for your email addr.
It says only some will be found.
I wonder if the checking is done for previous data breaches (sp?), which my email addrs have been hacked years ago in other "big hauls."
New item for DToT perhaps. My windows 7 machine has been plugging along, however slowly. I have had no problems with replying to these posts using the standard HTTP, though it has been discussed how the secure httpS is prefered.
Well, recently I went to the utility via one of the ads to remove, or block, the use of cookies for targetting ads. I "opted-out" all of them, and like 31 or 131 sites were sucessful. (I think new 'opt-out' cookies were created OR some cookie was updated on my machine.)
This morning, trying to post this update using the HTTP protocol and as soon as I got the reply box and typed a character, I ended up at the 'archieves' page.
If there is an association, well, making things "better" didnt.
I just spent a lot of time looking, in the debugger, as I had several times for a lot of hours trying to track down the "bug" on behalf of DToT and the world back then. The only two things which make sense are "cross posted cookies" and some command pushed onto my stack for an instruction already finished. See 2 below.
Cookie “sid” will be soon treated as cross-site cookie against “https://jamericans
TransactionInactiveError: A request was placed against a transaction which is currently not active, or which is finished.
