It really is some kind of cultural thing..i've witnessed again and again thru-out the island.. even at funerals their very into taking many pictures of the person in casket-with them standing by it,…etc… that may not be so offensive but just goes with the territory..
I remember my friend that witness a teenager a few years ago get hit on the beach road..and how everyone was right over him gawking,taking pictuers..She asked if anyone could get something to cover over him -he was obviously passed away..no one did-she finally took off her sweater and covered his head/face out of respect..
different country-diffrent culture…
