He was only on-island for four days, send out your prayers for this visitor, not sure Sav hospital has the capabilities to deal with a serious head injury.

Once again everyone will get smoke blown up their asses about the WONDERFUL Negril ambulance and the WONDERFUL Sav hospital. Anyone who actually believes that they are going to get WONDERFUL treatment at Sav hospital is a blooming idiot and nobody can convince me any different. Makes me puke when people compare Sav hospital to ANY hospital here in the states. Oh and then there are the idiots who say--- we live in a rural area and don't have great care. YOU IDIOTS! I LIVE in a rural area! We do NOT have world class health care here BUT it is perfectly adequate for routine things. We certainly do NOT get cut wide open for a gallbladder surgery---- can you say dark ages? AND we DO have world class care relatively close.

Gonna take a HUGE bucket of paint to whitewash this~~~~~ but they will find a way and their followers will lap it up like a kitten with milk.

I can just hear their little mindless minions now~~ "Oh yes, we heard/saw the ambulance go past!" Go for you---- do you think that means it will be on the road FOR LONG??? Good god people! They put in CROSSING lights instead of STOP lights....... doesn't that tell you that things are done half assed there most of the time? They act like it takes an act of congress, ten engineers and a rocket scientist to put in sidewalks~~ this didn't give anyone a clue?

This just makes me sick to my stomach. It was almost a year ago that I posted my trip report saying it was just a matter of time before someone was either seriously injured or killed by those damn jet skis. I will bet there were other incidents – minor in comparison to this one – that weren’t reported. I’m just waiting for someone to say “He was probably swimming outside the designated swimming area” or some other BS like that. When I was almost hit by one I was only a few yards from the beach.

Now they want to register more of them? Really? The reason I was given as to why so many operate without registration is because the "authorities" thought there were enough of them and more would just cause problems. Now they want to register more? Can you say "MONEY talks". Yes the authorities (and I use that term loosely) are talking out of both sides of their mouths AGAIN. Just plain fuckery.

This is tragic. The guys operating these jet skis are reckless and completely unsafe. They drink and smoke all day and operate these vehicles so carelessly. I am appalled that whomever hit him sped off, and one can guarantee that if he was a local someone else knows who did it. He needs to turn himself in or his counterparts need to do it for them.

I've heard from a few people he passed away at the Sav hospital.
