I read the most recent edition-that person passed away...my condolences to the family. As someone who works in a hospital -am always intested in other medical facilities/clinics/fellow healthcare workers when i travel...I've been to Sav -not as a patient, but to pick up a friend who begged me to get her out...She was lucky to get an asprin, they didnt change her bandage that clearly needed it, you really depend on your family/friends to bring you clean linen, meals,...it s 3rd world standard all the way
If the injuries from the jet ski didnt kill him then i wouldn't doubt the lack of care his injuries needed did-....
The article says no ambulance and police took along time getting there..
I know i sound like a brokern record...but always pay the extra few dollars to get GOOD travel insurance -and have the # of the private ambulanance or hell even a taxi driver to get you to Mobay (which is better than sav-but not alot) or even get you to airport where they will medi-evac you to miaimi...I know for a fact it works and saved my friends dads life when he suffered a stroke in Ochi...and seriously -it doesnt cost that much...
