Took me a while to think of something, as wherever I 'make' my home soon feels homey to me.
I used to be attached to antique-y things (esp family items), as I liked that connection and also wanted to preserve the items, like the little white apron that was my mother's when she was a little girl, and she stitched her name on it; items like that.
Anyway, what I bring to give me comfort and grounding, are a journal and my Vision Board, a few thoughts and writings that have come my way, and a couple books.
Last summer I had the urge to paint so I brought supplies and a few of the paintings with me. I only used the supplies once, but have enjoyed the paintings, hung using clip hangers and Command removeable hooks... altho if the breeze is strong it can take them, lol.
