"Where was Colin Lynch shot?"
In the back of his shop. The gunmen entered snuck in through an open back/side door. His 14 year old daughter was in the front of the shop and was not harmed, she did not even see the gunmen as they approached quietly and out of her view. She heard the shots and the motorcycles take off. She was unharmed physically - emotionally she will never be the same.
"What time of day?"
I honestly forget - after dark for sure but not all that late as I recall.
Out of Town Pastry is in an area that is not popular or busy with tourists. Its a mostly residential area.
"What about the incident on Lime Tree? What time did that happen? 8:30pm. "
OK - but again, not an area popular with tourists - or locals, lol. That lane has had a bad rep for a very long time. There are good people that live there but there are many bad people and bad drugs that live and hang around there too.
In my opinion I still think it would be a long shot for a tourist to get caught up in violence as you described...however...you don't and that's OK. What I believe has nothing to do with what you decide to do regarding your own safety, nor should it. It's not "right" or "wrong" - we both have opinions on this matter based on our own knowledge and experience.
