i agree with tim . . . it's just a matter of time . . . a lot of tourists sit at the corner bar . . . one of these days, one of those tourists will be there when a shooting happens . . .
i was sitting in front of my hotel on the beach, bar b barn, minding my own business, when an argument erupted between locals and a gun was pulled. just like that . . . young, young, boy had the gun . . . it was squashed real fast . . . if you blinked you'd have missed it . . .
and the countless madmen that walk by stoned, drunk, waving a machette . . .
yes, we are all sitting ducks . . .
and, countless incidents in negril go unreported just like at home. a lot of tourists just simply leave and never go back to ja.
i live in the north end of winnipeg, been here 50 years, two of my children serve the police force. i worry about them daily . . . there are numerous incidents that do not get reported, especially in the more wealthier end of town . . . but we are a city of million people, when you compare those numbers with negril, well, you just can't compare!!! it's like apples and oranges. . . .
