I think we can all agree that the treatment of locals, ex-pats, white, and red bone, tourists is different. Also having a decent understanding of the dialect makes a difference.

I am sure your experience is very different. I have not ever had anyone offer me a puppy in JA, however.
There is a nightclub/restaurant in Kingston called Red Bones. Good food, kind of pricey but if you eat there, there's no cover charge for the band
