I understand Wendy's sentiments. There always seems to be more to the story than what is reported. When the underlying motives involve something I can wrap my head around it helps me understand and cope. Passion, revenge, bad blood, business gone wrong, the mysterious "runnings" that I am not privy to, it makes more sense than just surrendering to fate.
In the case of Colin at OTP, I am certain he was not involved with anything out of order and sadly was more in line with the pot-to-pee in scenario.
To the contrary, he represented everything I love about Jamaican spirit and the uniqueness of the West-End. This man was an institution, a pillar of the community and a great example to all. His murder is completely senseless and has profoundly saddened me.
Based on what has been reported specifically about the OTP shooting: Previous attempts on his life, motorcycle gunmen in West End during big event on opposite end of Negril, crackdown in Sav on gangs (cops "shoot first"), overall change in safety on the West End, am I missing something?
Please help me understand and achieve some degree of closure. Why would they shoot him like this?
