To the first, no.
That's why my experience, as someone who was born and raised in Jamaica, will be different from those visiting. A 'puppy' is another name for a penis. Many things are said knowing a tourist or visitor won't understand. It's one reason I enjoy patois but always listening and learning. Because of my looks, I am seen as a local (often braids and dark very skin) so what's thrown at me, might be different.
I think we can all agree that the treatment of locals, ex-pats, white, and red bone, tourists is different. Also having a decent understanding of the dialect makes a difference.
