Fantastic journey and gorgeous photos Wendy, well done!
I loved the Fried fish and Bammy at Border, and it was my husbands favorite Jamaican meal on our last visit. I think he enjoyed the price too hehe! For our youngest child one of the lady's filleted the fish for her, so she had no bones, nice touch I thought! Also the corn on the cob here was very good.
We did stop at the Peter Tosh Mausoleum (sp) and I am eternally grateful we did.
I found it a very serene, spiritual place. I managed to reconnect with myself there, a feeling I never I wasnt looking for and never happend for me at 9 Mile. If we ever pass again I would insist on stopping.
We never got as far as Treasure Beach, but we are still toying with the idea. I have always liked the look of Jakes. I have also heard the pizza at Jack Spratts is very good. Yes/No..anyone?
Keep up the good work Wendy, you are making this Jamaica sick girl, a million miles away, feel much closer to (holiday) home...Thank you! x x
