In terms of chronixx, I believe he has the right to exercise his freedom of speech.
I bet Obama isn't as concerned as many seem to be.
We should all be able to call it how we see it in terms of politicians...whatever that means to each of us as individuals.
I am not critical of Obama, but others should have the right to be....I'm sure lots of republicans use worse statements than 'waste man' in reference to him...which is not an offensive term IMO...hell I would use it to describe David Cameron and Nick Clegg in England in a heartbeat.. I'm not offending anyone, or being anti- English.
Why shouldn't he still be able to perform in the U.S. Because of his opinion....he didn't say anything bad about Americans, that I have read....Obama is a good man IMO, but there are going to be opposing views about his decisions. Obama didn't grant him his visa, this is not a personal thing either.
Lisa spoke about him not being personal in a global arena, having an opinion about a president of another country's actions, or lack of, isn't a personal attack. That conclusion would be a whole can of worms for our countries and what we do.
Chronixx hasn't incited anything, has he?
And the innuendo that his statement could have a backlash on Jamaica.... Well dose'not that imply a bullying response.
So big up to Obama, and big up to chronixx for peacefully standing up for what he believes in, not something he should be critisized for..
