County Executive Ed Mangano presents the 2nd Annual Carribbean American International Festival celebrating Carribean Heritage month.
Sat. June 18th 2pm (sharp) to 9pm at Eisenhower Park – Field 6
This year will feature a wide array of music, food, arts and craft, and displays from the various Caribbean Islands.
Featured will be Caribbean Gospel with World renown Shirley Willis, one of the founding members of the popular Grace Thrillers, Natalie Evans also formerly of Grace thrillers, and Barrington Reid. Soca and Calypso music by Supa P, Adlib Steel Orchestra, Angels Caribbean Band. Reggae music by the Mighty Diamonds and Frankie Paul. Back by popular demand will be the Dream Castle Models. There will also be a costume and fashion show, highlighting the culture and a variety of styles from the Caribbean.
Spend a festive day at Nassau Countyâ€s beautiful Eisenhower Park Field 6 on Saturday June 18th 2pm (sharp) to 9pm. This is a FREE event so be sure arrive early for best viewing.
