While I was looking for an old boardie, I went to Bobbie Board (where I can post, but have to give 2 sheep and a goat first) and read that Club MoBay said more tourists than ever are expected.
And JA now has plastic dollar, which led me to the newspaper site about (taxi) fares are going to jump. One person wants 120% increase. In 2021 they went up 15% which was supposed to be 1 of 2 jumps. One cited the cost of fuel but IMO it is everything.
YT online video news, mainly western parishes, every once in a while mentions someone getting shot dead in Negril. It's island wide. But the item also ties into the next, with a common element:
90 per cent of our murders are fuelled by lotto scamming activities...

or better,

6 guys involved with Internet Lottery scams are going to court. No similar event happens in India with their tech support scams.

Another 30 cases were dismissed because an employee never got around to getting the data out of the cell phones. (Maybe jamaica IS like India; of one case made public in India, it was dismissed and none R pending.)
