It is wrong to laugh at the plight of others, and I'm glad they were rescued, but this article on 4 men rescued at sea had an amusing (to me) line:
"Additionally, the vessel’s sails were not working and their GPS was not functioning properly."
I'm certainly no mariner/sailor, but don't sails either function (with wind) or they're damaged? How does a sail "not work"?? chime in if u can OT (or others).
