I suppose it is wise and good to respect other people's cultures and beliefs.... but some times... damn it is hard.

At least I can keep this tucked away when 'reasoning'... people have some VERY strong beliefs that may not match mine.

In many Caribbean and 3rd world countries many still believe in Voodoo. This seems to fall right in line, so to me it is not surprising. Disappointing though that people still believe in any of the cult type cultures/religion/etc. That said from lack of education they still do.

Hmmm...IMO that could describe many religious activities in the first world too....

I'm really superstitious with stuff like this, so I won't be reading further on that game in case I invite stuff in too. .....

I agree cults and superstitions also exist in first world countries. I just think they seem to be to a greater degree in 3rd world countries and the original article posted was from the Caribbean.

Total co-incidence, I visited a children's home yesterday where the kids were talking about the Charlie Charlie game, showed me something on you tube as well.
I spent ages talking with them about it, but they thought it was a lot of fun.

I'm even more spooked now lol....hate this type of stuff.
