International Spay/Neuter Network
Is having their clinic once again in Negril, this Friday - Monday and they are looking for volunteers to help out. They will be located at the community center in town by the craft market.
It was one of the best experiences I had in Jamaica, working with these wonderful dedicated people. So if you are in Negril this weekend or know of someone who is, contact Kim Swain, the director or Debbie of Moonlight Villas.
Here is some info I copied from the fb page:
Kim Swain "ISNN will again be conducting a free spay clinic for stray and low-income pets in the Negril area.
Dates for the clinic are June 3rd through the 6th at the Negril Community Center. Anyone nterested in participating, please let me know.
We are also in need of accomodations for our volunteer vets and techs, approximately 15 people.
If there are any restaurants or hotels willing to donate lunch for one day for ALL the volunteers we would be very grateful.
Anybody with a truck, SUV, or van, wlling to transport animals back and forth. We can assist with gas.
Educators needed to assist with the humane education program durng the clinc. Children's books to distirbute, photography, art, and games planned for the kids.
Of coarse, we welcome all help and look forward to another sucessful spay clinic - improving the lives of Jamaica's street animals and preventing the birth of thousands of unwanted pets!"
