Can one of you savvy techie types tell me about email acct hacking? In the last week, both of my gmail email accounts have been compromised by someone in China. The first time, I was notified that someone was attempting to use it (don't know if google told me or my Mac), and I changed passwords and HOPE all is okay. Then a couple of days ago, two non gmail accounts of my own were sent spam from my gmail account. I did not open the link from the compromised acct, and tried to warn everyone that I had been hacked. I immediately changed that password, too. Two questions: My previous passwords were strong, as are my new ones. Is changing my password enough to save the account, or must I close it down and recreate?

Is this a weak spot with google mail only? I have, in addition to those 2 gmails accts, 2 yahoo accounts and an MSN account. So far, those have been kept intact - is that just luck or are they better protected? This is pretty alarming
