greets...
i notice lately that several boards (of different natures) have started to restrict viewing of photographs...the question i would like to put forth is: unless a board is private, as in charging for viewing/membership, are not all others public domain? and, if public domain, then why restrict photo viewing?
it seems to me, that being unable to see what ones are talking about would restrict my impression of something...like a sense of what one is retaining in ones mind...i think visuals are a great part of decision making...especially where vacations or re-locations are con-cerned...you see me? or am i well mad?

As for the OP, I don't see a problem registering on any particular site if I am interested enough to view pictures posted on said site.
