I am going to order this again...borrowed it out and now don't know where it is....It is suggesting Dead Yard.. anyone read that one or recommend some more ja books?

Can't remember all I have read. I do know I have read Abeng by Michelle Cliff, The Lunatic by Anthony Winkler and my very most favorite The Children of Sisyphus by H. Orlando Patterson. I will be sure to read One People.

I have been reading JA books since I miss the island so. Just read The Lunatic and am now reading The Pirate's Daughter which is an interesting fictional take on Errol Flynn era Port Antonio--guess I am about halfway through it. Back in the day I read Walk Good, Banana Shout and Rasta Heart--all of which I enjoyed after my first trip to Jamaica. I think I will be reading a lot of Jamaica based stories this winter as the cold and snow descend.
