Worried - Jenny - 05-26-2011

Don went down to Denning, the small Arkansas town where one of the tornados hit & decimated the entire place on Tuesday night, yesterday along with our Humane Society of the Ozarks Executive Director, President & office staff. I got an e-mail from him last night saying that there's so much to do that he was going to stay down there & help with caring for the dogs at the command station they set up for the roaming animals at the County Fairgrounds just outside of town. He was going to sleep in his vehicle. They were still rounding-up dogs & bringing them in at nightfall, when a curfew was going to go into place (8:00 pm) to keep out any unsavory people from going into the wiped-out town. Now, this morning, I cannot get ahold of Don or ANYONE down there. I'm just hoping that they are busy, lots of dogs & cats to take care of, plus still trying to pick up more lost animals. I just wish one of them would call me back to let me know they're OK! Wish I didn't have to be here at work; arghhh!
