Tipping the Bucket, Trippin' Across Europe - macyoder - 05-20-2011

8 days and counting.
Flight from LA to Vienna with transfer in Dusseldorf Germany, 10 hr and 40 minutes, Dusseldorf to Vienna 1 hr and 30 mins. Flight time 12 hrs, 2 hrs layover, 2 hrs to airport, 3 hours check-in, 9 hrs time difference Door-to-door: too much.

First 6 days in Vienna, Austria

Next 4 days in Copenhagen, Denmark

Next 5 days in Barcelona, Spain

Next 4 days in Italy, Rome and Florence
Tickets to the Colosseum,Vatican and Accademia to see David and watch people look at David already purchased.

Finally last 4 days in Vienna - might do overnight to Prague or rest. Return on day 24,a month from today.

Our next huge trip Asia: Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia. Most important Port Antonio, Jamaica next summer.

Ahhh yeahhh.... I'm super jealous right now. I got to go to go back to Scotland & Ireland in 2009 but it was way to quick of a trip and I so wanted to go back to Spain and France (actually everywhere I traveled while I was living in Scotland).... I would have a whole different perspective, respect and appreciation for it all now, vs when I was 20 (not that I didn't appreciate it then, but the appreciation would be much greater now....oh and I wouldn't have spent our two days in Barcelona purely partying at night and sleeping in the day). Even after being mugged (I guess since we stupidly fought back and ran and they didn't end up getting anything it woudl actually be called an attempted mugging) I still loved that city (just wear a money belt Smile )!
