I think that this is something you would appreciate. A rare event occurred in February in Trenchtown when the Ancients, Elders and Priests of all the Mansions of Rastafari, as well as the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and the Ethiopian World Federation, came together in the largest gathering of Rasta Patriarchs since His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I visited Jamaica in 1966.

The Ancient Council of the Nyahbinghi, the oldest and most original Mansion, are sponsoring a Rasta cultural event in April at Trelawny Stadium, which will include a line up of top international musicians, as well as speeches, sermons and reasonings by the Rasta Ancients to bring the words, sounds and teachings of His Imperial Majesty to life. All of the Patriarchs who gathered in February agreed to participate, offering the chance for anyone who attends to mingle with the oldest and purest Rastafarian Anciency on earth. Some of these men are living history, Original Rastas over 100 years old and still impressively vital.

A Rasta village will be set up outside of the stadium where people will be able to attend sermons and reasonings for the first three days, and then musical events will begin on Friday and carry through to the closing fire on Monday.

The Ancients are rising up, their meditations have told them that now is the time to bring the words of Emperor Selassie I back into the light, and The SURVIVAL WORLD CULTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL is the first step. Most of the world has no idea that these rare men still exist, and have remained true believers their entire lives despite the violent persecution - which drove most of the older brethren far out into the remote hills long ago. The repeated attacks are remembered as 'The Scatterings', but now the fragments are joining together for the first time in decades.

It will be an incredible experience.
