In Greenwood....if you're looking for a GREAT place to eat that has both Jamaican food & N.American food, I think you will be very impressed by this place!.....check it out!

Just wanted to alert folks to a GREAT restaurant/bar that has opened recently on the n. coat hwy. in the vicinity of Greenwood., about 20 min. from Mobay. The name is "Chill Out Hut"

It is on the seaside of the road....very impressive paintings on the walls with a lot of thatch roof covered tables to sit at & enjoy the ambiance of a nice ocean view.

It is a very well thought out concept & the owner has put nuff $ into perfecting the atmosphere. The restrooms & kitchen are super clean....I looked!

They are open for lunch at noon and I believe, stay open till 12 midnight.....maybe till 9 for dinner....not sure.

The lunch I had was well prepared & came within a very reasonable length of time (which is always a big PLUS in Jamaica!). The prices were in Ja.$ & VERY reasonable!! The menu was VERY impressive, by N. American standards, nachoes, burgers, chicken wings, pizza, salads.....the dinner menu even had "rack of lamb" & "beef tenderloin" on it!!!!

The waitstaff was polite & attentive. I was extremely impressed!
