Dub - HipHip - Google Doodle - JonTom - 08-11-2017 Today's GoogleDoodle (for me anyway) is a tribute to HipHop and does a little background on the origins (or widely accepted origin/influence). The influence from JA Dub and toasting on HipHop has been written in at least a few books I've read, but the Google Doodle insinuates that Kool Herc invented "MC'ing", rather than appropriating the JA toasting that he knew, being an immigrant from JA. Just wait 'til Clovis gets wind of this. Don't credit JA and the fury comes.
