mango....mango and more mango

also breadfruit...altho it isn't a fruit

june plum perhaps? Jack fruit...ginneups (towards the end of season) melons if you are in the country....

Those Jamaican avocado-pears are to die for. I think they are my #1 favorite food in Jamaica.

I actually saw some beautiful looking Ja Pears in the Asian/Jamaican market where we buy fish yesterday. They were 2.69 a lb. and looked to be about 5 lbs. I was really tempted but over ten bucks for a pear seemed a bit much when small avocados are abundant in southern California.
