Just received news that Mighty Bass passed away. Most of you will remember him by his beautiful tenor voice as he walked up the beach with his bullhorn saying "It's gonna be hot...hot...hot....be there!"
I had been told this winter that he had been ill and under a doctor's care thus his absence on the sand. It is a sad day as another icon of Negril has passed.
RIP...prayers to the family and friends of this kind and gentle man
