I don't think they are sensical at all. Another ill-thought out plan that actually came to fruition. As a driver, they are sort of narrow and yes that is the point to slow people down, but they are too narrow.... Even if you know they are there, you may forget .... and can cause problem even for a 'safe' driver... ESP at night...
There is no warning it is ahead if you are overtaking... If I was crossing the road I would still prefer to wait on the side till both sides clear...
It's like the signs with the exclamation points, lol. Oh man, I can't wait to see how drivers really handle this. That, and Negril's beach road now is officially foreign to me. If I got dropped there right now I'd have no idea where I was.
There goes the neighborhood. Now - I do know that MAJOR safety related stuff was needed and I guess received but does anyone mind while I wax nostalgic for a simpler time where there wasn't a traffic light until you hit MoBay and there were no sidewalks? A time when West End road was called West End Road (or Lighthouse Road) and there wasn't any pavement on the street?
