While I enjoyed the Go Pro view of the jump here's my "Rick's In A Nutshell"
Busloads of tourists flock to watch the sunset so the place is packed; prices are high; service is slow;
and the only Jamaicans in the place are employees. And you can't smoke weed there--very easily. I recommend going early before the buses arrive and you can dine at early-bird menu prices (ie-complimentary champagne) with your pick of cliff view tables.
As for the cliff diving most of it is done by the tourists with long, long waits between actual dives by the locals who do an annoyingly shoddy job of begging money. If you want to jump be forewarned there are no lifeguards on duty only guys jabbering in your ear looking for a tip and distracting you as you get up the courage to jump. Oh, and keep your feet together when you hit the water. If you hit the water hard have the presence of mind to move to the side so no one lands on top of you. It's not like folks are jumping rapid fire it's just that no one's really keeping a look-out.
