Happy Belated Birthday greetings to you!! Birthdays definitely get less and less exciting the older you get. I hope you were able to spend time with the grandchildren!
Lobster is at an all time low here, $6.99 per pound. Someone that I work with gave me a $25 gift certificate for Red Lobster & my daughter & I went there yesterday for lunch. I was expecting "lunch prices" and to get a lobster roll but they weren't on the menu. Instead I kind of splurged for me & got a $33 lunch of a really huge lobster tail, mashed potatoes & salad. I don't think I have ever bought such an expensive lunch in my entire life. Oh my God though !!! I do LOVE lobster it was a meal to remember. Plus LOL I ordered a bloody mary and it was really too strong, the waitress kind of forewarned me, telling me that "she made it herself"... It was actually rather an ordeal to drive home. We have a new "Trader's Joe's" store that fairly recently moved into the area. So after lunch we went there, since it is in the neighborhood of the Red Lobster restaurant. I was kind of "too out of it" to even shop there. The aforementioned Bloody Mary definitely took a toll on me! That store though has really great deals, especially if you are sick of cooking. During the fall and winter I do enjoy cooking a wide variety of recipes, but come this time of year I am less interested --- the lawn to mow, the pool to skim and so on. So I do hire a lawn company to mow my 2 acres but I have one of those ancient non-gas mowers, which I do use. For me to mow my entire area it takes me from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
