I do Mystery Shopping as a home base business. Really, more trouble than it's worth but has it's moments. Someone emailed me an assigament to shop Walmart and Western Union, paying me $200. This is way more than any assignment. Today I got a money order for $970 to be deposited in MY bank accont, taking my $200 fee, then making a purchase at Walmart for $50, and sending the balance from my account to another person. As a rule I don't deposit anything in my checking account that I did not earn. I believe in FREE but not too good to be true.

Then, you already know it is illegal. It is a Crime. You also know that the entire transaction is back door. Also the entire amount is taxable, even as a possible 'contractor'.

As you said too good to be true. No Free lunches.

Just think of it as the same crime as buying/smoking herbs.

This one stinks as bad as the herbs, you might want to check and make sure the SWAT team isn't standing outside your door right now.

It's a scam !!!!! The money they want is the money you are sending to the third party.Then you !!!! are on the hook for it all. RUN !!!!!

That is for sure a scam but Secret Shoppers is a real thing. I've been doing it off and on for years. Believe me it doesn't pay ANYTHING like that. Maybe $12-$20 a shop. The "jobs" are few and far between so you can't live on it. But it's nice for a few extra bucks now and then.
