Next month is our trip! Yippee! We have planned to stay one night, the last night, at this place. Abumere Guesthouse in (near) Falmouth. I can't find much info on the net about it but have been in contact with the owner via email. It's only $3500j a night per room. Has a resident cook/caretaker and he can arrange transportation to the airport. I feel confident staying here, just looking for personal experiance.

Has anyone stayed here or been driven past?

Jeannie, I have driven past this guesthouse, never knowing it was one, & always admired it's unique color....BUT I have aquired info. from another site that someone has done a "check" on the place & was not happy & also someone who has stayed there has given a very negative review of it because of the lack of cleanliness of the pool & also the attitude of the owner. I will see if I can find this info & send to your FB PM page....

Hey JeannieB..Not too long ago I inquired about this place too..When I was in Falmouth recently ran into a tourist in town that had stayed there and she didnt really like it...and she seemed to be a low-maintenance kind of gal...We didnt go into details but she said she wouldn;t rec it.... You know that's Jam Jewels neck of the woods.
She could get more info and or/maybe have some reqs for places to stay..She's really close to that area (ie -if available-I'd rec you stay at her place..)
