After months of preperation for the wedding, the day has finally arrived where my first born will wed the love of her life.
Absolutely PERFECT DAY !
I'm escorted to my chair where i'll be waiting for what every parent has dreamed for....to see the day your daughter takes another step in her journey of life.
Bridesmaids/groomsmen have all paraded by taking their places on each side of the beautiful flower decorated arbor where brianna and mike will exchange their vows.
Harpist begins her music. I turn to look back to see the most beautiful bride ever with her arm intertwined with her daddy, OMG shes lovely !
I'm holding my tears back which i must say i WAS doing fine until they are just steps before me.....i feel one tear roll down my cheek followed by another soft tear. Our eyes meet as if to say to one another 'I love you'.
Threw out the ceremony my eyes are fixed on her with thoughts of her childhood, pre-teens, her fiestyness, being headstrong, her kindness, the cute little things she would say....
and now seeing her holding hands with the love of her life....where did the the time go ??
Reception ...over 800 roses adorned the chandeliers spread threw-out the white drapped canopy tent . Each table had a bottle of red and white wines that the couple had made especially for the guests.
Salads were served followed by the main course of chicken wellington, prime rib, fresh green beans, potato in a cream sauce, freshly baked dinner roll.
For desert we had strawberry shortcake served in a parfait glass. Soft square cubes of the shortcake adorned with fresh strawberries topped with fresh whipped cream.
The couple had a small decorated cake for the cake cutting.
