4000+ pictures and enough notes to write two books...so where to start....
Some observations/conclusions first:
A year or so ago, I concluded that I was done with Ochi, now I'll add Negril to that list. I just can't stomach being in areas with tourist and the people they attract. Nothing negative about the towns rather the vibe doesn't give me a happy face.
In some cases staying at 6 different places in 15 nights was too many places and in other cases I wish I could of tried more places.
The cost of transportation on the island chewed up my budget! The route taxi system kicks ass except when you share a van with 17 other people. Bike taxis are ok if the driver drives slow.
Chatting with ex-pats and deportees is an experience that I enjoyed. Doc & Cher (from here) are two examples of people that I wish I could of spent more time talking to.
Maybe a little deep for a trip report, but the whole Jah provides and guides thing.....stuff about spirits.... the I and I....
Feeling a connection with people that live off the land and don't need material crap.
more soon come
