It would have been easier to just link their website://www.reggaeontheriver.com
It takes place in Humbolt County, which still is Cannabis Central and where the best Ganga is grown in the country. French's Camp in the little town of Piercy CA.
Reggae on the River is one of the oldest/longest running (33 years) and largest Reggae Festivals in the US. Us locals in Northern California reap the benefits of having the festival so close in that we get many of the artists performing at the festival playing at clubs in Mill Valley, Petaluma and San Francisco in the weeks before and after the festival.
I "worked" at the festival in 2004 (their 20th anniversary), having full access passes was perfect as the toilets there can get pretty rank during a long hot weekend! It was a great line-up that year - Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jimmy Cliff...and aside from sucky camping and asshole camping neighbors it was a good time.
