Shipmaster, the person referenced likes to put a happy smiley face on some of the issues in Negril, such as medical care and ambulance availability, where it is not always appropriate then yells at people that call him out on it. So, every now and again some people on this board like to "remind" that this board is not like the other board.
As far as ambulance, no change in that at all. My friend had a motorcycle accident in February. After tossing him in a pick up truck and taking him to the police station, they made him wait, in agony for 1.5 hour for an ambulance to arrive. When it didn't he called his friend to take him to the hospital.
Moral of the story: Don't get hurt in Negril.
PS: Saw recent arguments about Cosmos over there. Friends of his told me (a) he DID indeed retire and (b) he did INDEED get a cash settlement. Pass it along if you want to.
