Prince has recorded a new song in response to the current events in Baltimore in reaction to the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody.
An official statement from spokesperson Yvette Noel-Schure said that the song "addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio/political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men."
The song is further described as "a tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore. Release plans for the song, which was recorded this week at Paisley Park, have not yet been announced."
