Hi Wanda....I always use Pickapeppa sauce when I make "brown stew" anything (don't use browning, but do use a little soy sauce)....I add it after the meat has been browned & seasonings sauteed, little water added to cook down & then a couple healthy dashes of the Pickapeppa. Barry also uses it in his oxtail w/butter beans dish.
