I don't go "over there" so maybe that's what this is all about - I saw one thing which brought a blast from the past - the name Sonja - I remember "Miss Sonja" stories -
roots- do you mean Miss Sonia, the lady with the cook shop? I REALLY hope that is who you mean cause imagining HER in the context of LC's stories is about to make me piss myself laughing. If that's not who you meant and I took it wrong, GOOD! Cause I got a BIG kick out of it!!! THANKS!

rootswoman - the poster who used to write about "that" Miss Sonja you are thinking of, was Geo - aka Geocox - aka George Cox; different person and different Sonja. I have met George in person and he is much older than Leslie Chow (or at least older than LC 'says' he is).

Hey LeslieChow: Yes the preverbal hatchet is buried for now. As long as everyone/users on this board whether posting “positive or negative†comments are treated with “respectâ€. Respect is a word I think is, over used, and frivolously used, on the board you came from, and in Jamaica, but if there is true respect for this board and users then I see no future problems between us. The word and the culture the word descends from, does have great meaning if not used in a frivolous way.

Yes, damn it. The only joy I have had in my miserable existence(building new front steps-pics when done) lately is picturing Miss Sonia as a "fancy lady" on the back of LC's little scooter with her apron flying in the wind.
