What is going on??? Am I misreading something as mean spirited?

No meow mean spirits..just how "living in a yard" can be so different depending in the type of yard you live in..its almost like trying to compare apples to oranges the experience can be so different .

They're my words because this is what I saw, and it seems others interpreted it that way as well. Your first post was questionable (ex-not sure if I read it wrong) so I gave benefit of the doubt. Then Fatty's comment turned it south.. Your second response to that sounded not cool to me- That is all. All the others were ok. Anyway I'm sure she'lll come along soon enough to interpret for herself.

Well...thank you everybody. Haven't been on in a couple of days and then I see this. Nice. Not sure how to respond but I'll start with this: Van and BP, thanks for having my back. Macy - thanks for being real. Fatty - god dude. You and your comments I just dismiss, especially after speaking to a few folks in Negril. "Cub reporter" my ass, you know nothing about me or the people I live with and near. The rest of you, well...I don't even know where to begin.

If I had to take my family down now to live (given the changing circumstances) I would have a 10 ft high fence with ARMED !!!! guards on all corners. Some of you guys might not know it , but the home invasions are everywhere even if you don't hear about it. As a matter of fact I was speaking to a friend of mine in Treasure Beach (my former neighbor ) and he was talking about that. The bad guys have lots of patience and wait for their chance. If this sounds like "scare mongering " it isn't ,it's the fact Jack. SAFETY !!!! is paramount !!!!! and you "are the sitting duck " either by yourself or with a local. If Tammy and I put our heads together I'm willing to bet we could list ,at the very least, a dozen " high jacking " people and places.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, R7s. So glad she was blessed to be able to enjoy your company and your verandah one more time!

I'm truly sorry about the loss of your friend Brenda,I think its wonderful you got to hang out in Feb... This post had more to do with prev.posts that had dialogue between JB and RG in re: to differences in yard life living..Nobody trying to be more "authentic"or any of that nonsense ... There is no one size fits all... and I concur again with Macy, would nice to have a yard life like RG;s.-shes got a good thing gogin there, but I still wouldnt trade it for living in near the mts, rivers, and countryside-..To each his own... Old Timer your spot on re: home invasion...its increasing -EVERYWHERE... |
