I went to the gas pump today and gave the clerk $10.00 for gas and he looked at me like "you gotta be kidding" I just looked back and said "yes, $10.00."

Is $10.00 the new $1.00 bill? Signs of the time I guess..

A coworker's teenage son had to get fuel so he could make the drive across town to get to the bank to cash his paycheck.

He put in $3.61 worth of fuel (all the cash he had at the time)...not even a gallon of gas.

It's deprssing when I really start to think about it.
