This restaurant was mentioned in another thread. It dawned on me that I've read very little online about this place.
After Patrick (Sunset After Dark) shut down for the off season, the German Snack Bar became our most frequented establishment (other than Shark's)!!
We've eaten almost everything on their menu: bratwurst/sauerkraut/fried potato's, curry wurst/fried potato's, chicken/rice, goulash, fried potato's/egg/cheese, wiener schnitzel, etc..
I am German by heritage, born in Germany, live in a German influenced area (Milwaukee)...and I'm here to tell you that this place rocks. Steffan and Dela are both excellent cooks and strive to please. If/when you're in the Negril area and looking for something different than the usual fare...give them a try. You won't be disappointed!! BTW monk...not sure if they have German bier there or not!! LOL

Suppose I should have explained where this place is for those who don't know:
It's on West End Rd. right next to Easy Rock Internet Cafe - to the north. It used to be Scots Al's place!!

cool, I am really disappointed I didn't get a chance to swing through there as I believe an old bredren of mine might be one of the cooks, his name is Fire.

if they have schnitzel- like a serious holstein schnitzel and also german bier. goddamn that will be really something.
