I've been missing Jamaica so much, I've been digging in to the old photos for a nice trip down memory lane and started scanning some. Here are some photos of a place I stayed the last night of my first trip to Jamaica. Negril was hit with the tail end of "the storm of the century" that hit the East Coast of the US dumping a few feet of snow.
These photos were taken the morning after the worst of the storm - so you have to realize how bad it was during the night. Just imagine: first trip to Jamaica, I'm alone, I'm in a thatched roof hut on the cliff's edge, as the night progressed the waves started hitting the roof and seeping under the door. And to top it all off - I have no idea where I was. Even to this day I haven't found this place again. It was well past the lighthouse and that's all I know.
