Power Blues Band ... I might have learned something . I have seen them in Halifax a dozen times and they always said they were from Ottawa ??? I never checked it out and just made the assumition they were from Ottawa . Thanks for the correction !!!!

Not trying to correct you at all. Just letting you know what I am finding. Still looking further into the Power Blues name, there appear to have been several over the years.
Here is a snippet from wikipedia about Powder Blues, which made me think your original request might have just been a typo: The Powder Blues Band is a Canadian blues/pop/jazz band formed in 1978 in Vancouver. Also I can not find anything about a band called Power Blues, no wikipedia, no nothing. Only a song posted but I think it was a typo because it sure sounds like Powder Blues to me?! Anyway there is Buddha Power Blues which is out of Portugal, and several other similar names with Power Blues in it, but none, other than Powder Blues listed as Canadian. Perhaps when you saw them the accent (lol) caused confusion...or maybe there were some libations and/or noise interference that caused the variance? ...just sayin’ lol
